A balcony for all seasons

I'm so happy to announce that the Love is growing! Balcony Love’s very first guest post comes from my mentor, the wonderful editor of Country Home Ideas magazine, Margaret Megard. She shares a magic (and homesick-inducing) moment on her Sydney balcony...

“A wetter than average spring in Sydney. Our balcony is usually sunny and full of time-stealing and ever-changing harbour views. Today, I’ve noticed a little forest of toadstools (mushrooms?) has moved in to keep our bonsai company. This early morning mist and fog should clear but I love its quiet beauty.”

What's your favourite hour on the balcony?

  1. I love how nature finds a way to spring up in built-up areas... although, this isn't your average city balcony. Great sleepers and to-die-for view you have there.

  2. Isn't it gorgeous? That glimpse of the harbour bridge is tugging at my heartstrings.
